IT Recycling (Liverpool) is a bespoke service that allows all types of organisations to dispose of their IT waste in the Liverpool area free of charge. Believe it or not, no part of the service is chargeable. There are extras such as onsite data destruction that can come at a small free however.
The IT Recycling service is undertaken by the Revive IT Recycling company whom are based in Leeds. Just because we are based here doesn’t we don’t cover other locations. Our IT Recycling service takes any accumulated WEEE, no matter what the condition or working state – many things taken free include PCs, Desktop Computers, Laptops, Servers, Monitors, Printers, UPSs, Batteries, Cabinets, Phones, Cables / accessories. For anything that isn’t classed as hazardous, you will receive a waste transfer note. The waste transfer note has to be filled in very carefully to avoid Environment agency fines. The quantities and weights of what is collected has to be tallied up. The collection address has to be written in and both parties have to sign the document. On this document, the customer has to write their email address. We don’t pass your email address to any third parties. It is used to email over your data destruction certificate and if applicable – asset report. Waste IT Equipment that is classed as hazardous like batteries, UPSs, CRTs, LCDs etc all go on a hazardous waste consignment note. The consignment note goes into more detail than a normal note. The percentage of hazardous components have to go on the notes etc.
