Although Revive IT Recycling LTD does not travel to Edinburgh regularly, we can still do a Scotland collection every month. If you have a full van load of IT equipment to be disposed of in the Edinburgh area then we can organize this collection immediately and it will be completed within 2 weeks. If you have around 10 PC sized items then it will be within one month. However, we can promise you that these two scenarios will both be collections that will be free of charge with computer recycling Edinburgh.
We are located in Leeds but we can provide an onsite data destruction service for a minimal fee where we will not only take your unwanted IT goods but destroy the hard drives and backup tapes in front of your eyes with our CESG approved crusher. We also provide a free of charge data destruction service where we can take all the items back to our secure warehouse and have the data bearing devices wiped/crushed. Once all these devices have been destroyed or wiped then a data destruction certificate will be emailed across to you.
When collecting the equipment from you there may be a few items that are actually hazardous waste. If this few turns to many or more precisely over 500kg per year of hazardous equipment then you will have to register as a hazardous waste producer.
