The general process for a collection in London goes as follows-
A company phones/emails to enquire about our services in London quoting the amount of IT equipment needed to be collected and the postcode where the collection will take place. If the company has more than 10 pc sized items then the collection will be free of charge and will be within the 2 weeks following the call. On the day of the collection, the driver arrives at his destination where he quickly loads the vehicle with the surplus equipment and provides the customer with a waste transfer note and hazardous consignment note (in some cases). The equipment from the collection is then stacked in the warehouse where immediately CRB checked staff find the data bearing devices and get to work on wiping/crushing them. Once this has been completed then a data destruction certificate will be emailed across to the customer quoting the types and amount of hard drives/tapes etc that have been processed.
