Revive IT Recycling Ltd recently completed a big project in Birmingham. A customer requested that over 2000 desktops and monitors be collected, securely for recycling. This amount had accumulated over 3 years or so and now the hospital was closing for refurbishment. The person in charge of organising it was adamant that they chose a company that could provide PC Recycling free of charge. The customer has an internet search and came across ourselves.
Revive IT offered to collect and recycle all IT Equipment free of charge along with onsite data destruction. The project had to be carefully planned as timing was a key issue. Demolition work had already begun so the IT Recycling collections had to be done quickly as well as being well planned.
Revive IT sent a onsite data destruction vehicle to the site in early September where all hard drives were removed there and then by Revive ITs employees. At the same time another employee crushed the hard drives to CESG standards which allowed the job to be processed quickly. The customer was very pleased at the speed the job was completed.
